About

This web is supposed to be information grounds for our small research group (2 guys+) and for others who are interested in programming using manycore systems. We would like to publish here some of the problems, solutions and other stuff we find exciting. We would also like to share case studies showing effects of new hardware on problems we solved in our already published works as new manycore platforms are changing very rapidly.

We expect most of the posts to be concerned with the GPU systems using CUDA as programming language extension. Still, we will keep an eye on the evolution of the Intel Xeon Phi and Intel manycore CPUs with OpenACC as programming standard and others.

Is currently working for OeRC (Oxford e-Research Centre) at postdoc position for Astro-Accelerate and the Square Kilometre Array projects. He got his PhD. in Theoretical Physics and Astrophysics at the Silesian University in Opava. His dissertation thesis concerned with Disc Structures in the Field of Compact Objects. Currently, he published several papers on manycore programming but his main interest is in the field of computational physics and signal processing.

His professional interests are: Signal processing on GPUs–Manycore Programming–Software design for astrophysical research–Data analysis
